Venn Strategies has promoted Jessica Layson Davis to vice president and Michael Lanza to assistant vice president. Layson Davis, who specializes in healthcare issues, joined the firm last year. Venn Strategies promoted three: Matt Pearce to vice president, Natascha Cumberlidge to assistant vice president and Chelsea Doubleday to associate. The firm also announced a pair of hires. Brian Beaty, who worked at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, will serve as a senior associate. Erica White, who formerly worked in the press shop of Sen. The firm also announced that it had hired two new members to its team — Brian Beaty, who joined as a senior associate from public affairs firm Burness, and Erica White, who joined as an associate from public affairs firm Blakey & Agnew. Pearce joined the firm in 2013 from the U.S. Green Building Council and before that served as a legislative aide to former Rep. Earl Pomeroy.
