Venn is seeking an intermediate-level Associate with familiarity and interest in critical infrastructure and energy policy and programs. The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years of relevant experience to support our growing critical infrastructure practice group, specifically in the energy sector. A strong candidate will have a proven track record with energy-related federal policymaking, the political process, relevant trade associations, project management, and/or experience especially in one or more of the following issue areas: grid security, electric power, national defense, utility regulation and operations, supply chain, pipelines, energy generation, transmission, utility regulation, and advanced energy technologies.

Fast-paced, independent boutique lobbying and public affairs firm in Washington, DC seeks an Outreach Associate with 1-3 years of relevant experience to support growing national grassroots campaigns. The candidate will assist with direct engagement of potential advocates for priority issues. Candidate must possess excellent communication (written and oral) abilities, be comfortable and confident on the phone, function well on a team, capably multi-task, and must be client-oriented. Campaign, state, local or federal government experience a plus, must have demonstrable knowledge of campaigns, Congressional and regulatory processes, and major policy initiatives in Congress and the Executive Branch. Venn is looking for a full-time employee who has an interest in coordinating special events. This includes conferences and large-scale fly-ins (political events). Experience in coordinating corporate fly-ins, association annual meetings, etc. is a plus. We host a high number of events (internal and external), ranging from small receptions to large multi-day conferences, so multitasking, prioritizing and attention to detail are all must-have skills. The role assists with planning and coordinating advocacy-related programs and activities. The Programs & Events Associate will be responsible for providing the team with logistical and administrative support which includes onsite event support, scheduling and calendar management on a mass scale, vendor and/or event specific research, compiling programs, managing budgets, creating agendas, extensive follow-up and assisting with graphic design projects (a plus, not required). Other duties and assignments may be given as the person in this role grows professionally or as needed.

Venn is seeking a Vice President to join its health policy practice as a full-time lobbyist. Candidates must have 7+ years of experience as a congressional staffer or lobbyist with expertise in health care advocacy, including legislative or regulatory work.
